In the Aachen Competition II, we see stories in the here and now, conversations, conversations about conversations, exchange in every form. Whetherin a therapy room, hungover in a bar, or at a student party – no medium captures awkward silences, love, trust – in short: the interpersonal; quite likecinema does! In doing so, the medium also discovers new forms of exchange—for example, a dance stretched across place and time can suddenly evoke intimate memories.
